This role will cover 2 facilities, University Park SNF in Fort wayne, Indiana and Lakeland SNF in Angola, Indiana.

The primary purpose of the Area Director of Business Development is to lead and manage the facility's sales, marketing and admissions, to provide the number of referrals and admissions that are required to meet or exceed facility census and revenue goals, by accomplishing the specific business goals. The Area Director of Business Development is accountable for more than one location as identified by the Regional Director of Business Development.
KEY JOB FUNCTION:
Communicate current market intelligence to Regional Director, Business Development as well as field concerns, issues and barriers.
Provide sales leadership and support to facility to achieve business objectives, increased market awareness, implement strategies, create Business Development plans, build, achieve, expand admissions and census goals.
Identify, manage and develop referral sources, educating on facility services and programs and clearly establishing differentiation from competition.
Demonstrate adequate understanding of current post-acute market needs documented in SWOT/Market Analysis.
Maintains adequate knowledge of nursing services and specialty programs.
Maintains weekly sales call activity in accordance with Strategic Plan.
Must have, as a minimum 3-5 years experience sales and marketing / admissions experience in a hospital or long-term care facility.
Must possess at a minimum, a High School diploma.
Bachelor's Degree in related field a plus, but not required. ... Learn More
